How we verify checkers

Every install claim on this checkers guide must trace to docs/RESEARCH.md facts: GitHub release names, README extract rules, and package manager searches. If we did not run a command on a physical Windows box, we label behaviour UNVERIFIED instead of guessing SmartScreen wording.

Sources we allow

Upstream README and licence files, GitHub Releases asset lists, official Microsoft redistributable notes when cited by upstream, and primary package registry searches. We avoid random blogs as authority for checkers install doors.

Corrections

When Releases change filenames, we update research and pages. Soft parks stay parked until assets exist. Publisher: Square Quill.
